Forth Week of School

I have a really busy week this week. On Friday, I have taken pictures of football home game. My picture was published on school website. Mrs. Greenberg ask me if I would like to be the school photographer.

Furthermore, the Siddhartha project is coming. I decided to give up all computer games. This is really hard for me because of I am a super fan of video games. On Monday, I even have to hide all the icon of gaming, otherwise I couldn't control myself and play games. But things are going better. Now I almost get used to the life without game. Plus, I started reading in order to distract myself from gaming. I already finished first part of Wealth Of Nation by Adam Smith.

This quarter is almost ended. I cannot even believe that. I feel that summer vacation was just finished.

Journal 5: WAR IS PEACE FREEDOM IS SLAVERY IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH Describe what these three statements mean and their contradictions. How would you rationalize these statements? War Is Peace is a slogan used by the Party, which first appeared in part 1 to describe a situation that a nation or a country will only be united with a common enemy. A book that left a lasting impression is Moon and Sixpence by Somerset Maugham because this book argues the conflicts between materialism world and spiritual world.
